Viva Sports top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? features eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao training for his showdown against WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on November 6, Manila Time.

The program will include exclusive footage of Pacquiao sparring one round earlier in the week with Jose Ramirez (18-0, 13 KO?s) at the plush Elorde Gym in the Telstra building of the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.

Many looked good in his first sparring session against Ramirez who fights much like welterweight champion Jessie Vargas.

In an interview with Ramirez after the sparring he said Manny threw some great combinations and showed he still had the speed and power that were highlights of his remarkable career.

We also have interviews with strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune, Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, assistant trainer Restituto ?Buboy? Fernandez and former two-division world champion Gerry Penalosa.

?The Main Event? which will also be replayed at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday ends with highlights of Donnie NIetes? masterful victory in his first bout at flyweight against former light flyweight champion Edgar Sosa who is ranked No. 5 by the WBC and is looking forward to a title shot at the winner of the Zou Shiming Kwanpichit Onesongchai Gym which will be featured on the Pacquiao-Vargas undercard where five division world super bantamweight champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash?Donaire defends his title against unbeaten Jessie Magdaleno.
