Magramo.
The fifth in the exciting Magramo boxing clan, undefeated 21 year old Giemel Magramo, seeks to follow in the footsteps of his father Melvin Magramo, popular uncle Ronnie ?The Toy Bulldog?, Ric and Alvin, when he battles unbeaten Muhamad ?Falsom? Waseem for the WBC flyweight Silver title in the Millenium Seoul Hilton on November 27.
Giemel has a record of 17-0 with 13 knockouts and is coming off a unanimous ten round decision over Rene Rosia last July 16 after he won the vacant WBC International title with a 6th round TKO over Jeny Buca at the Flash Elorde Grand Ballroom on December 12, 2015.
He had previouslky beaten Indonesia?s John Bajawa who retured in the 4th round of a scheduled ten round bout on March 29 this year.
Magramo, a stylish fighter with a powerful right hand is not expected to have an easy time against Waseem who despite having only four wins, 3 by knockouts, comes off a big win over fancied Jether Oliva last July 17 in which he won the Silver title.
Referred to as ?The Pride of Pakistan?, the WBC reported that Waseem ?displayed his consummate boxing skills to dominate the experienced Oliva.
Two of the three judges had Waseem a shutout winner 120-112 while the third judge scored it for the Pakistani 119-113.
The WBC internet site said ?what an achievement! As Muhammad Waseem only joined the pro ranks last year and his success followed a glittering amateur career where in 2014 he won the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland.
The WBC said it was ?very proud that champion Waseem and his promoter Any Kim rejected an invitation to compete in the recent Rio Olympic Games.
