Filipino Raymond Tabugon will be the first to get a shot at Juan Francisco Estrada who relinquished his WBO/WBA flyweight titles and has moved up to super flyweight in a ten round bout on October 8 in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.

Tabugon has a record of 18-5-1 with 8 knockouts. However, the 25 year old lost his last fight on July 29 by a 5th round TKO against Makazole Tete in a clash for the vacant IBF International super flyweight title in South Africa.

He also lost by a 5th round TKO to Juan Hernandez Navarrete by a 5th round TKO in a scheduled eight round flyweight bout on November14 last year.

Boxing Scene reported that at a press conference to announce the fight, Estrada (33-2, 24 KOs) who won the title by a split decision over Brian Viloria in Macau, explained that he's fully recovered from the injury to his right hand that sidelined him from fighting over a year.

The 26-year-old Estrada is gunning for a rematch with Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, who won a war over Estrada in 2012 at junior flyweight. Gonzalez recently made the jump to super flyweight and captured the WBC title from Carlos Cuadras two weeks go in Los Angeles.

Estrada said, "First I have to win the 8th of October. Everyone knows that Filipinos come to die in the line of fire and Tabugon has nothing to lose and everything to win - but I am well prepared and motivated to perform in front of my people. I have no doubts there will be a show on stage, and that I will win and analyze with my team and my promoter Zanfer on what fights I want at super flyweight, including Chocolatito, Naoya Inoue, Nica Conception or Cuadras."

Estrada added, "I'm looking for big fights and I won't have any problems going up to 115 pounds. I made my debut at bantamweight and this a good division for me. I feel stronger, I have trained very well since I've been away."
