US-BOUND ?Magic? Mike Plania and John Vincent ?Mulawin? Moralde of Sanman Boxing Stable are both seeking for a knockout win against their separate rivals in the ?Battle in Tupi? boxing presentation on September 10 at the Tupi Gym in Tupi, South Cotabato.
?Plania and Moralde also both need to win their fights to boost their morale as they are already both leaving for Miami, Florida after the fight,? said Jim Claude ?JC? Manangquil, chief executive officer of Sanman Promotions.
They will be joining their fellow undefeated stablemate Harmonito dela Torre, who is now training with veteran Cuban boxing trainer Moro Hernandez at Moros Gym in Miami.
Plania, who is currently the World Boxing Federation International bantamweight title-holder will be facing Jhonrey de Asis (6-1-1) for 10 rounds in the main supporting bout.
Plania won his title via a majority decision against Lorence Rosas last April 30. He previously beat Romulo Ramayan Jr. by a unanimous decision last June 26 in Gensan to keep his unblemished record of 11 straight wins with four knockouts
Moralde, on the other hand, will be fighting Hagibis Quinones for only eight rounds.
Moralde, who holds the WBF International featherweight crown and with 16 wins and 7 knockouts, captured his title by a UD over Anthony Sabalde last February 13. He also last saw action in Makati City with a split decision against Jimmy Aducal.
Plania and Morade are also flying together with Reymart ?Gensan Assassin? Gaballo (14-0) who is pitted against Yodichai Sithsaithong for the vacant WBC Asia Superbantamweight title in the double main header of the ?Battle in Tupi?.
The other championship bout is between Sanman?s Romero ?Ruthless? Duno (10-1) against Maxsaisai Sithsaithong for the vacant WBC Asia Superfeatherweight crown.
Meanwhile, super flyweight Engelbert Moralde is making another comeback against Jun Eraham for six rounds in the undercard.
