Pe?alosas alive in the ring

Boxers from the known Pe?alosa family showed their strength and power at the boxing event of the recently concluded Gemmalyn Crosby Sports Festival (GCSF) at the SMX Convention Center.

?Ipagpapatuloy ko po ang laban naming mga Pe?alosa sa boxing,? said Dave Pe?alosa, son of former boxing champ Dodie Pe?alosa. Dave won in the event via unanimous decision.

Another Pe?alosa, Carlo Caesar, won by 3rd round TKO.

?We continue to make alive the fighters of this great family. And we thank Gemmalyn Crosby for believing in us and supporting Filipino athletes,? said Raymond Obcena, boxing promoter and partner of Gerry Pe?alosa, former junior bantamweight and bantamweight titleholder in boxing.

Gerry has been a partner of the GCSF for the past two years.

Crosby, the first IFBB Pro representing the Philippines, a mixed martial artist and certified personal trainer, is proud of the 2016 Filipino Fitness and Wellness Expo, the biggest sports event of the year that gave all athletes international exposure and recognition. The multi-sport event featured the best and promoted the latest trends in the fitness, sports and wellness industry.

?Athletes, sports enthusiasts and celebrity guests from all around the Philippines and the world participated in the events that included Filipino Martial Arts & Arnis Championships, Bodybuilding Championships, Karatedo Championships, Arnis Best of the Best of the Philippines, Filipino Martial Arts, Table Tennis Games and Exhibitions, Yoga Classes, Boxing, Zumba and much more,? said Crosby, who now resides full time in the Philippines to give every athlete the opportunity to become internationally recognized.

Other winners in the boxing event are: Wowie Campos (Ud), Khurvin John Natuplag (1st Rd Tko), Ryan Sermona (1st Rd Tko), Robin Dingkong (Ud),Pedro Taduran Jr. (3rd Tko), Claudivan Sese (Md), Falcon Oca?a (Ud), and Drian Lirasa (S.D.) #
