The sixth installment of Box-Offs proved to be the biggest since it's inception last January in terms of bouts contested with 16. The event took place on the evening of August 27th at 10,000 BC Boxing Gym in Lagtang, Talisay City. It also marked the second time pugs from the northern barangay of San Roque joined the tournament. Big Yellow Boxing Gym also participated, sending three amateur boxers.

First bout featured 20-kg boxers with 7-year old David Mancao of Tabunok winning via UD over Neil John Fajardo of Camp 2, second is a first round TKO-Injury victory for Wyn Cabradilla of Tabunok against Kevin Anthony Torres of San Isidro in kids light vacuumweight category. The next two bouts were in the same weight class with Justin Trazo of Biasong beating Earl Nathaniel Abapo of San Roque via UD in a very entertaining, back-and-forth brawl, Bernard Robles of Tabunok also wins via UD over Christian Bajardo of Mohon.

Joperson Trazo, also of Biasong wins via walkover as his opponent, Genesis Jay Utos of San Roque fails to appear on the venue. Ashley Fajardo of Big Yellow Boxing Gym wins a UD over San Roque's John Riel Abay in kids antweight. In school boys light paperweight class, Tabunok pug Carlos Canedo wins a UD over Fritz Bato-bato of Biasong, James Briones of Tabunok scored a SD victory over San Roque's Jay Santo in youth boys light pinweight, Tabunok's Omair Mamao stops Maverick Sabellano with a body shot in the first canto to register a TKO victory in school boys pinweight, Roy Jones Estella of San Roque wins a SD over Mark Anthony Mandaue of Tabunok, Odie Dacua of Linao also registers a win inside the distance by beating Rodmar Canales via TKO in the second stanza. Main offering of the tournament featured Keyt Nino Abatayo Bacalso of Lagtang, a Batang Pinoy National Championships silver medalist edged out fellow Batang Pinoy medalist Limbert Cainap of Biasong via UD in youth boys light pinweight.

Special awards were also handed out to outstanding performers of the tournament with Lagtang boxer Keyt Nino Abatayo Bacalso wining the "best boxer" accolade while "fight of the night" was awarded to bout number three with Justin Trazo and opponent Earl Nathaniel Abapo.

The Box-Offs series is a monthly amateur boxing tournament initiated by 10,000 BC Boxing Club and a grassroots boxing development program that aims to discover young boxers with talent and potential to make it big in the sport and in life. The driving force that helped conceptualised the idea of conducting the said tournament is "molding not just boxing champions but champions in real life".
