PETER MANIATIS BOB ROSE CUP PROMOTION FEATURED ON THE MAIN EVENT

Well known Australian, multi-awarded promoter Peter Maniatis? Bob Rose Cup presentation will be featured on Viva Sports ?The Main Event? on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. over PBO, Pinoy Box Office on Sky Cable with a replay at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

In the featured bout Filipino southpaw Cris Alfante battles unbeaten beaten Australian Andrew Moloney at the Talvern Town Hall in Melbourne in a slugfest.

Maniatis commended Alfante for ?a good fight which was a slugging, tough fight with Andrew with the Filipino showing lots of heart and pride.?

Promoter Gabriel ?Bebot? Elorde had claimed that Alfante was in top condition and had a good chance to win because he was a fighter who could punch but he fell short.

With the loss Alfante dropped to 11-6-1 with 4 knockouts while the 29 year old Andrew Moloney improved to 8-0 with 4 knockouts.
In the preliminary bout Brent Dames who is trained by Gavan Turner takes on Terry Tzouramanis in a eight round super lightweight contest.
