Vastly experienced former world title challenger Jether Oliva has been totally outclassed in a World Boxing Council flyweight Silver title fight by Pakistani fighter Muhammad Waseem at the Millenium Hilton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea.

Waseem who entered the ring with an unbeaten record of 3 knockouts in 3 fights completely dominated Oliva who had a record of 23-6-2 with 11 knockouts raising serious questions about Oliva?s fitness.

Two judges scored a 120-112 shutout while the third judge had Waseem the winner 119-113.

It was an inexplicable loss for the vastly more experienced Oliva while Waseem took a major step up in class.

Waseem?s promoter Andy Kim of AK Promotions said it was ?a huge win for Waseem. I am happy for him. We are a step closer to our goal of him becoming a world champion after Roman ?Chocolatito? Gonzalez announced that he will move up to fight WBC super flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras on September 10 for the WBC super flyweight title held by Cuadras.
