
TACONING APOLOGIZES TO MEXICAN FANS OVER HIS PLAN TO GRAB THE WBC LT FLYWEIGHT BELT FROM CHAMP GANIGAN LOPEZ

Filipino light flyweight mandatory challenger Jonathan ?Lightning? Taconing has apologized to Mexican fans over his plan to grab the World Boxing Council title from champion Ganigan Lopez at the iconic Arena Coliseo in Mexico City on July 2.
Taconing who arrived in Mexico City with the sons of Johnny and Liza Elorde ? regional WBO champions Miguel, his physical trainer, brother Martin Elorde and trainer Jay Ballaran will be joined a few days before the fight by Johnny and Liza.
Taconing said ?Sorry" to the Mexican fans according to the WBC website ?as he is awaiting a named belting!?
He landed on one of Mexico City's International Runways, in the runup to the July 2 fight or flight against WBC world light flyweight champion, Ganigan ?Maravilla? Lopez.
Taconing, is accompanied by his coach Jay Ballaran and his physical trainer, Miguel Elorde.
This will be a second world title opportunity for the talented Filipino, who this time around, is confidently claiming to already be near the division limit. He stressed ?Fans know I am here to take the title from Ganingan. I am very sorry for the people of Mexico as they have been great to me, but the belt has my name now!?
