You don't have to be an NBA junkie to understand that today's Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Oracle Arena is as big as any sporting event you'll ever witness. It's a showdown pregnant with expectation, full of drama and draped in suspense.

Most importantly, it's a ton of excitement. Here are some of the riveting facts of this ultimate winner-take-all.

1) 15-3 --- Since its founding in 1946 there have only been 18 Game 7s in the NBA Finals. In those occasions, the home teams have gone 15-3, which means the host Warriors have an 83.3 percent chance of winning their second straight Larry O'Brien trophy.

2) 189 -- The Oracle Arena is sold-out for the 189th consecutive fan. Home of the Warriors, it's also known as "Roar-acle arena" for its loudness, home court advantage has been a huge factor in Golden State's success.

3) 40-plus -- After scoring 41 points in Games 5 and 6, LeBron James will shoot for his third consecutive 40-plus game in the NBA Finals. The record-setter is Michael Jordan, who scored at least 40 points in four straight games in the 1993 NBA Finals when the Chicago Bulls bested Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns in 6 games.

4) $99,000 -- A "well-known" person paid $99,000 in the secondary market for 2 courtside seats. It's the highest ever paid int he history of the NBA Finals.

5) 3-1 -- No team in the history of the NBA Finals has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit. Thirty-two teams have tried, all have failed.

6) 1964 -- The city of Cleveland hasn't won a major sports title since 1964, a 52-year drought.

Game 7 tips off soon.. Enjoy!!!
