UNDEFEATED Filipino junior lightweight Harmonito ?Hammer? dela Torre and his opponent Guillermo Sanchez both made their weights today (May 27) for their 8-rounder bout tomorrow at the Seneca Resort and Casino in Niagra Falls, New York.

Dela Torre tipped the scales at 131 lbs. while Sanchez submitted only 126 lbs.

?Hammer is feeling great. He will do his best to win in his USA debut,? said young manager Jim Claude ?JC? Manangquil, chief executive officer of the Sanman Promotions from General Santos City.

Manangquil earlier said that Dela Torre ?will put on a great show for American boxing fans? and is ?hoping that his first fight will be the start of something special.?

Also expected at Dela Torre?s corner are Cuban coach Osmiri "Moro" Fernandez and assistant Danny Mcdermott.

The 22-year old Dela Torre is still unbeaten with 17 wins and 12 KOs while 27-year old Sanchez is toting a record of 15-18-1-6 KOs.

Dela Torre fought twice at the Cotai Arena in Macau, once on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios fight.

He scored a 3rd round knockout over Jason Butar Butar in a scheduled six round bout on November 24, 2013 and then scored a 1st round knockout of Yakobus Heluka in a scheduled six round bout on February 22, 2014.

Sanchez, on the other hand, started his career with a string of eleven wins before he lost his last four fights.

The fight is presented by Greg Cohen Promotions in the televised main event on ?Championship Boxing on CBS Sports Network on Friday (Saturday Manila time). ? LITO DELOS REYES
