Unbeaten super bantamweight Prince Albert Pagara is not afraid of rugged Mexican Cesar Juarez who, according to Jake Donovan of boxing scene.com, took super bantamweight champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire ?to hell and back? in their WBO title fight last December 11 in Puerto Rico.

Pagara told a well-attended press conference at Dencio?s restaurant near ABS-CBN that while he will headline the fight card at the San Mateo Events Center in California he doesn?t fear the Mexican who was dropped twice by Donaire in the 4th round but came back in a brutal second half of the fight, pinning Nonito who was apparently getting tired against the ropes with some torrid combinations.

The 22 year old Pagara who was scheduled to leave at 10:00 p.m. on Monday for Los Angeles where he will train at the Wild Card Gym of Hall-of-Fame trainer Freddie Roach under the eyes of his regular trainer Edmund Villamor and his brother Edito ?Ala? Villamor with Roach providing ?some inputs? according to former world bantamweight contender Michael Domingo who accompanied Prince Albert.

Pagara who has a record of 26-0 with 18 knockouts stressed ?I?m not afraid of him (Juarez)? who has a record of 17-5 with 13 knockouts.

He said he was ?confident of beating Juarez? and setting himself up for a title fight.

Prince Albert conceded he was well over the 122 pound limit but was confident he could cut down his weight once he starts serious training in Los Angeles along with strength and conditioning coach Nick Curson.
