IT IS A must win for current World Boxing Federation (WBF) International featherweight champion John Vincent ?Mulawin? Moralde of Davao City against Jimmy ?Xcon Tirador? Aducal of Samar in the main supporting bout of the Brawl at the Mall: Undefeated slated tomorrow April 30 at the Makati Cinema Square in Makati City.

?It?s a must win for John Vincent because we also have big plans for him this year. That?s why we want him to be busy to keep him in top shape,? said young promoter Jim Claude Manangquil, Chief Executive Officer of Sanman Promotions.

Both Moralde and Aducal tipped the scales at identical 127 lbs. at the official weigh-in held at the Tramway Buffet Roxas Boulevard.

?Magaling din ang kalaban ko kaya?t hindi tayo puede mg kumpiyansa,? said Moralde after the weigh-in.

It will only be the second time for Moralde to be fighting in Metro Manila. He first saw action last March 21, 2014 when he scored a majority decision against Roman Canto in their 8-rounder match held at the Fil Oil Flying V San Juan Arena in San Juan City of Metro Manila.

After two years, Moralde is now back already as a champion but still undefeated with 15straight wins with no loss or draw

The 21-year old Moralde was recently awarded as one of the outstanding boxers in the 16th Gabriel Elorde Boxing Award held this month in Paranaque City. He previously won his new title via a convincing unanimous decision against Anthony Sabalde of Cebu last February 13 at the Gaisano Mall Atrium in General Santos City.

The 25-year old Aducal, also a southpaw, is a former interim Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) super flyweight champion with a record of 8W-5L-2D-6KOs. --- LITO DELOS REYES
