SUPER bantamweight Junar Adante of the Philippines will be fighting in the undercard of the championship fight between World Boxing Council (WBC) Asia Boxing Council super flyweight champion Rex ?The Wonder Kid? Tso of Hong Kong and former champion Young Gil Bae of South Korea on May 14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

The 24-year old native of Cagwait, Surigao del Sur will be facing James Murashige (7W-3L-2D-4KOs) of Japan.

Adante of the Highlands Promotions of international promoter-matchmaker Brico Santig is already a veteran of international title fights.

He suffered, however, a setback by retirement against undefeated Thai boxer Nop Kratingdaenggym March 4 at the Siam Paradise Entertainment Centre in Ngam Wong Wan, Bangkok, Thailand for the PABA super bantamweight title.

Adante also suffered a TKO from the hands of Li Quan Lin last December 26, 2015 for the vacant International Boxing Organization Asia Pacific super featherweight title in China.

Adante first became a challenger to Chinese fighter Xian Qian Wei but he dropped a unanimous decision in their battle for both the WBC Asian Boxing Council featherweight title and WBC Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council featherweight title held last May 8, 2015 at Expo Garden Hotel in Kunming, China.

Adante, however, bounced back by stopping Japanese Hokuto Kawana in the first round by a TKO last November 7, 2015 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan

?Mas inspirado ako ngayon dahil sa buntis ang aking asawa ng pitong buwan sa aming anak na lalake,? said Adante during an interview at the MP-Highlands Gym in Manila.

Adante also vowed to continue the winning streak now of the Highlands Boxing Stable.

?May tatlong sunod sunod na tayong panalo parehong sa labas ginawa,? said Santig.

First was former WBC Youth World super lightweight champion Sonny ?Pinoy Hearns? Katiandagho, who managed to escape with a split decision against Hyun Woo Yuh last April 15 in Dangjin, South Korea.

And then Allan ?The Leopard? Tanada pummeled to submission Indonesian champion Roy ?The Sniper? Mukhlis by a technical knockout in the 8th round to capture the vacant World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific lightweight title on April 22 at the Delta Sports Hall in Sirdoarjo, Indonesia.

The latest victory was made by IBO world and World Boxing Association (WBA) International minimumweight champion Rey ?Singwancha? Loreto, who scored a 4th round technical knockout against a tough Japanese Koji Itagaki last April 24 at the Marina Hop in Hiroshima, Japan.

However, two more fighters from Highland Stable will first be seeing action before Adante.

Reigning Women?s International Boxing Association (WIBA) International light flyweight champion Jujeath ?Bad Girl? Nagaowa will challenge the undisputed WIBA World light flyweight title-holder Su-Yun Hong of South Korea on April 29 in Suwon, South Korea.

Former world champion Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo will then face the young Japanese Riku Kano for the interim Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) minimumweight title on May 8 at the Bunka Center in Sanda, Hyogo, Japan. ? LITO DELOS REYES
