FILIPINOS CONTINUE TO EMBRACE AND APPLAUD MANNY PACQUIAO AS A HERO

Filipinos from all walks of life continue to embrace and applaud eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao on his return to his hometown of General Santos City where he received another hero?s welcome following his dominating performance in his third fight against Tmothy ?Desert Storm? Bradley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last April 9.
On Thursday Pacquiao was in a motorcade that despite the sweltering heat drew a good crowd and ended up at the Novotel Hotel in the Araneta complex alongside Miss. Universe Pia Alonzo
Wurtzbach at a press conference where both superstars praised each other for their singular achievements.
A large crowd gathered at the airport in General Santos City and at SM City where he thanked his fans for their unwavering support through the years.
The welcome was organized by Mayor Ronnel Rivera and longtime friend, Sarangani governor Steve Solon.
