Las Vegas - Oscar Valdez Jr. recorded the second stoppage of the night here in The Fight Capital of the World with a 4th round TKO of former world champion Evgeny Gradovich.

A perfectly placed left hook by the 25 year old Valdez Jr. dropped Gradovich after dominating him from the opening bell.

Gradovich beat the 8 count by Referee Russell Mora and wanted to continue after the knockdown but Mora waived the fight off after seeing the damage on the fallen fighter's face.

Gradovich complained about the stoppage but his swollen and bruised face validated Mora's stoppage.

Valdez Jr. improved to 19-0 and 17 KOs and grabbed the vacant NABO Featherweight strap with his scintillating victory while Gradovich slid to 21-2-1 (9 KOs) after the knockout.
