SITHDABNIJ TO DEFEND CROWN VS. MANUFOE

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Current World Boxing Council (WBC) Asian Boxing Council Continental light flyweight champion Pongsaklet ?Naforluang? Sithdabnij of Thailand will make his first title-defense against Indonesian challenger Demsi ?Toncer? Manufoe tomorrow (April 8) in Patumtani Province.

Sithdabnij, who has a record of 7 wins with 6 knockots against 3 loses and 1 draw tipped the scales at 108 lbs. while Manufoe had 107 lbs. in today?s official weigh-in held at the office of the Naforluang Promotions.

The 24-year old Sithdabnij captured the crown by stopping Iwan Key by a technical knockout last December 18 at the Ratchaprachasamasai School in Phra Pradaeng.

Manufoe, 24, previously lost by a knockout to Richard Claveras of the Philippines in their title-fight for the WBC Asian Boxing Council light flyweight crown last January 31, 2015 in Manila.
Manufoe?s last victory was a decision against another Indonesian Yudi Gunawan last March 8, 201 in Indonesia.

He also fought but lost to Knockout CP Freshmart for the WBC Youth World minimumweight title on December 3, 2012 in Bangkok.
The championship fight is promoted by Pisitwuttinan Suchat and assisted by Brico Santig.

Meanwhile, WBC Silver super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand will fight another Indonesian Ichal Tobida in a non-title fight in the main supporting card.
The 29-year old Rungvisai (38W-4L-1D-35 KOs) took the WBC Silver title by a TKO over Jose Salgado last May 28, 2015 in Thailand.
The 31-year oldTobida (12W-19L-0D-8 KOs) previously lost to Panya Pradabsri by a TKO in their title-fight for the WBC ABCO Continental minimumweight crown last March 11 in Laos. ? LITO DELOS REYES
