
AMONSOT HOSPITALIZED AFTER GALLANT TITLE BID

Czar Amonsot who engaged undefeated WBO lightweight champion Michael Katsidis in a total war over twelve rounds in Las Vegas is in the ICU at a Las Vegas Hospital after a CT Scan detected what appeared to be a “little blod clot in his brain.”
Respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer told Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today that his son Michael who was with Amonsot is by his side and a specialist has been called in to evaluate the situation .
Howeve, doctors initially said it was nothing serious but they wanted to make sure and confined him to the ICU for observation.
After the fight Katsidis looked the beaten man with his face a grotesque mass with cuts and swelling on both eyes and cheeks while Amonost didnt even have a scratch.
