Plania (C).

UNDEFEATED bantamweight prospect Michael Angelo ?Magic Mike? Plania of General Santos City will be fighting veteran Rogen Floes of Dipolog City in the undercard of the T?boli Thunder boxing card on March 8 in T?boli, South Cotabato.

The 19-year old Plania of the Sanman Boxing Stable is still undefeated with eight straight wins with four knockouts and no loss or draw, while Flores has more ring experience with record of 14 wins, 28 loses, 6 draws and 7 KOs.

?I am looking to give Magic Mike Plania a WBC regional title shot in our next show maybe in the last week of April if he looks good,? said Sanman Promotions Chief Executive Officer Jim Caude ?JC? Manangquil.

Plania, an orthodox fighter previously won by a unanimous decision on another veteran fighter Ronerez Dalut (9-17-2) of Glan, Sarangani Province last November 27 at the Safi Compound in Tambler.

Flores scored his last victory by a technical knockout over Sherwin McDo Lungay last July 24 in Dapitan City. Flores, however previously dropped a unanimous decision to Gerald Paclar last Jan. 28 in Bohol.

?Malakas din itong si Flores, meron siyang pang knockout din,? said Manangquil.

Flores, a southpaw, already has seven knockouts in his 14 victories.

Meanwhile, Markquil Salvana also of Sanman Boxing Stable will also fight in the undercard against Dondon Navarez (12W-22L-7D-3 KO) of Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

The 19-year old Salvana vowed to bounce back after he suffered his first setback last Dec. 18 by retirement from the hands of Jason Moloney in Victoria, Australia.

It was only Salvana?s first loss after posting nine straight wins with 3 KOs.

?Navarez is not a patsy. He is also a veteran fighter,? said Manangquil.

However, in his last fight, Navarez was stopped by Japanese Kenichi Yamaguchi last Nov. 28 in Paranaque. Navarez last won against Marjhun Tabamo by a decision in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

Three more pairs will also be added in the undercard of the boxing promotion co-presented by T?boli Mayor Dibu Tuan.

The main event is the championship fight for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title between Sanman?s Raymond Tabugon of General Santos City and Renante Suacasa of Koronadal City.

The boxing card is again free to the public in celebration of the T?boli fiesta. ? LITO DELOS REYES
