The IBF minimum weight title fight between newly crowned champion Florante Condes and Indonesia’s former world champion Muhammad Rachman will be telecast by the producers of “In This Corner” on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. over NBN 4, nationwide.

With his win Condes started an exciting weekend of boxing for the Philippines by winning the country’s first legitimate world title followed by the sensational fifth round KO scored by Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire the following day to win the IBF flyweight title from cocky Vic Darchinyan.

The Condes-Rachman fight was described by IBF Championship Committee chairman Lindsey Tucker Jr as a very close and exciting fight which Condes won because of the two knockdowns he scored in rounds three and ten.

The well-known tanden of Sev Sarmenta and longtime boxing man Moy Lainez will handle the coverage which will also include highlights of some of the previous fights of Condes who is a product of the weekly boxing show “In This Corner” which is also telecast over NBN.

Lainez said “it was a close fight and very exciting” and Rachman was “really aggressive and even a return bout with be a great fight.” Lainez urged Filipino fight fans not to miss the action in the telecast sponsored by San Miguel Corporation. It will also be replayed over the popular sports and entertainment cable channel Viva Prime the following week.
