MUHAMMAD ALI'S WIFE TO RECEIVE MAJOR WBC AWARD

The wife of heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, considered ?The Greatest? ? Lonnie Ali -will receive a major award at The 2nd World Boxing Council Female Convention in Tijuana, Baja California, January 27-31.
The WBC announced that Lonnie will be presented with "The Humanitarian Award."
The WBC website said Lonnie Ali ?has dedicated her life to serve the community, but has also done tremendous work via The Ali Center Foundation.?
Lonnie is probably best known for having greatly helped in taking care of her husband Muhammad Ali, before and after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said ?for the WBC it is a great pride to recognize Lonnie. She is an exceptional lady who is a magnificent Champion in her own right.?
