The manager of former five division world champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire, Cameron Dunkin, says no agreement has been finalized as yet with the manager of No. 4 ranked Zsolt Bedak for a planned title fight against Donaire.

Dunkin told the New Standard/boxingmirror.com they are ?waiting to see what happens? in the fight of former featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich who was the original opponent of Donaire but decided to see how he feels fighting at 122 pounds before making a decision on a Donaire super bantamweight title fight scheduled for April 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines.

The manager of Bedak, Felix Racz said he had exchanged text messages a few times with Cameron regarding the Donaire vs Bedak fight ?but nothing more happened.?

Racz said Bedak ?could be a risky defense for Donaire as he is still hungry.?

He pointed out that the former Hungarian Olympian to the 2004 Games in Athens who scored an impressive win over subsequent world champion Abner Mares, had lost only once and that was in a world title fight against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr of Puerto Rico ?when he boxed with a broken jaw from the third round onwards?.
Bedak was dropped once in the 10th round and his corner threw in the towel shortly after that at 1:12 of the round.

In a clash for the WBO Intercontinental title on December 4, 2009 Bedak scored a 7th round knockout over Filipino veteran Ramie Laput who entered the ring with a record of 39-3 with 19 knockouts.

Racz told us, ?to be honest I won?t be surprised if for some reason this fight won?t happen.?
