Boxing Revolution 4 weigh-in Friday at Abreeza

THE official weigh-in of the ?Boxing Revolution 4:The Road to the WBF Championship? is set tomorrow (Dec. 11) at 10 a.m. at the Abreeza Mall in Bajada.

Reigning World Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia Pacific bantamweight champion Kenny ?Singwangcha? Demecillo (10-3-1) of Cebu and former International Boxing Organization (IBO) world super flyweight champion Edrin ?The Sting? Dapudong (31-6-0) of North Cotabato will fight in tomorrow?s 10-round main event at the Almendras gym.

?We will immediately start the fights at 5 p.m.,? said event coordinator Richard Reyes of the organizing Sonshine Sports Management Inc. (SSMI).

Pitted in the main supporting bout are former WBO Oriental featherweight champion Lorenzo ?Thunderbolt? Villanueva (21-1-0) and Jerry Castroverde (6-2-0) also of the Omega Boxing Club from Cebu for 10 rounds and 128 lbs.

Featured in the undercard are former WBO Oriental minimumweight champion Rommel ?Little Assasin? Asenjo against Lester Jun Pronco (10 rds.- 106 lbs.); Roskie Cristobal vs. Ryan Quimbo (10 rds.-135 lbs.); Jose Ocampo vs. Nelson Gulpe (10 rds.-124 lbs.); Arnold Garde vs. Rodel Tejares (8 rds.-107 lbs.); Vergel Deguma vs. Paolo Perono (6 rds.-114 lbs.); Michael Javier vs. Dingdong Quinones (6 rds.-112 lbs.); Marvin Masong vs. ER Borbon (4 rds.-112 lbs.); Alvin Lagumbay vs. Ronnie Buscato (4 rds.-135 lbs.); Gerald Alvarez vs. Noel Rosa (4 rds.-105 lbs.).

All the fighters and officials from the SSMI led by Executive Producer Jun Cardona and boxing adviser Jimmy Mata will also meet the press after the weigh-in to be conducted by the Games and Amusements Board headed by OIC Arlene Olondriz. ? LITO DELOS REYES
