Challenger Tyson Fury?s problem with his gloves prior to his clash with heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany on Sunday, Manila Time, has been solved.

Fury who is undefeated with a record of 24-0 with 18 knockouts arrived in Dusseldorf on Monday even as Sky Sports quoted his trainer and uncle Peter Fury who revealed that while working on the punch-mitts ?Fury?s thumbs had been damaged by the faulty gloves? and he is now training with different gloves ahead of facing world champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury?s trainer told Sky Sports in Britain that the challenger ?trained once this morning already and then we had a walk in the park. He then did 15-20 minutes on the pads. It's about keeping him on the edge all the time.?

The trainer disclosed that "There was an issue with the gloves at first. Every time he threw a punch he was connecting with the thumb, and it was pulling his thumb back, causing him to have to go to the doctors with an injured thumb.?

He said "Now, they've sent the correct gloves for him and they're fine so as of now, I don't think there's any issue with the gloves. They've rectified it and we're happy with the correct gloves.?

Peter Fury said Tyson ?is excited, happy and in the shape of his life. He's peaking at the right time now and you can see that from the big smiley face.?

"He's just a normal person. He loves to fight and this is a big occasion for him. He revels in it and this is what Tyson Fury is happy with. We're all excited to be here and we can't wait to get it on now."

Fight fans in the Philippines will be able to watch the fight on Fox Sports. However, as of now there?s been no indication of what time the telecast
