NEWLY-CROWNED Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) minimumweight champion Ronnie ?Ultimate Warrior? Tanallon of General Santos City will fight World Boxing Association (WBA) International minimumweight title-holder Siyabonga Siyo of South Africa in a non-title fight on Nov. 28 in East London, South Africa.

The 22-year old Tanallon previously won by a unanimous decision against Lester John Pronco to capture the vacant PBF crown last October 10 infront of the Glan Municipal Hall in Glan, Sarangani Province.

?Tanallon has been back to the gym training since Oct. 12,? said young boxing manager-promoter Jim Claude Manangquil of Sanman Promotions & Stable.

Tanallon, currently 8-1-1 win-loss-draw record holder, won all his four fights this year. He started this year with a unanimous decision win over Jonathan Ricablanca last Jan. 17 at the Oval Plaza covered court in General Santos City.

He then scored another UD against Danilo Umadhay on May 1 at the Sindangan Municipal gym in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Tanallon later stopped d Sherwin McDo Lungay by a technical knockout in 2:31 of the second round on Aug. 23 at the BS Gym in Barangay Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte.

Siyo, on the other hand, captured the vacant title with a unanimous decision against another Filipino boxer Lito Dante last Aug. 14 at the Orient Theatre, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

The undefeated Siyo (9-0-0) also pocketed the WBA Pan African minimumweight crown by a UD over fellow South African Siphamanda Baleni last Dec. 12 at the Orient Theatre in East London.

Siyo also has already four knockout wins. ? LITO DELOS REYES
