THREE undefeated fighters from the Sanman Stable of General Santos City - Markquil ?Gunz? Salvana, ?Magic Mike Angelou Plania and Reymart ?Gensan Assassin? Gaballo - will all try to keep their unblemished records as they see action in the undercard of the Brawl at the Mall: Revenge or Revalidation on Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. at the Gaisano Mall Atrium in Gensan.
Junior featherweight Salvana (8-0-0) takes on former Philippine flyweight champion Philip Parcon of RFM Stable-Davao in an 8-rounder match.
?Beterano si Parcon. Dito natin malalaman kung paano niya (Salvana) lalabanan ang isang tulad ni Parcon na mahilig mang-asar ng kalaban para masira ang focus,? said Sanman promoter-manager Jim Claude Mananquil.
Salvana, 18, retired Roger Echavez in the 4th round last June 7 at the Robinson?s Mall in his last fight while Parcon dropped a unanimous decision to Salvana?s stablemate Plania on the same card.
Plania (6-0-0) will also face Roland Magluyab (4-6-2) of VMS Gym-Zamboanga in another 8-rounder jr. featherweight bout while bantamweight Gaballo (9-0-0) trades punches with Frejun dela Cruz (2-5-1) of Jun Placido Stable-Koronadal for 6-rounds.
Plania, 18 survived the antics of 32-year old Parcon in his last outing while 19-year old Gaballo previously scored a 1st round TKO on Rocky Alvarez both held June 7.
The main event Brawl at the Mall, which is co-presented by Gaisano Mall Gensan and supported by Mt. Sabrina Resort, San Marino Tuna, Sydney Hotel and Philboxing, is the much-awaited rematch between WBA Youth bantamweight king Daryl ?Flash? Basadre and WBA Oceania bantamweight champion Kenny Demecillo of Cebu for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia bantamweight title.
Two other exciting matches will be featured as co-main supporting bouts.
Undefeated Rimar Metuda (7 wins, 3 KOs) also of Sanman and Jason Tinampay (6-1-0) of Edgar Ricafort Stable-Bohol will vie for the vacant WBF Asia Pacific featherweight title while WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental featherweight champion John Vincent ?Mulawin Moralde (13 wins, 7 KOs) faces Jerry Castroverde (6-1-0) of Omega Boxing Gym-Cebu.
Also pitted in the undercard are Jenny Boy Buaca (8-2-0) of Sanman against Michael Padayag (3-4-1) of Leonil Lazarito Stable-Bukidnon for 6 rds.-115 lbs. and comebacking Engelbert ?Agila? Moralde (8-2-0) of Sanman versus Joy Formentera (6-1-0) of Howi & Ablaca Stable-Cebu for 8 rds.-112 lbs. ? LITO DELOS REYES
