
Tabugon fights Sabellina in ?Brawl at the Mall?

Tabugon.
CURRENT World Boxing Council (WBC) Asia and International Boxing Organization (IBO) Inter-continental flyweight champion Raymond ?Tornado? Tabugon will also see action in the ?Brawl at the Mall: Revenge or Revalidation? on Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. at the Gaisano Mall Atrium in General Santos City.
The 24-year old Tabugon (16 wins, 3 KOs, 3 loses, 1 draw) will now face Jong Sabellina (5-10-0) of VMS Gym-Zamboanga in an 8-rounder bout.
The 5-foot-4 Tabugon previously scored a unanimous decision to Juan Purisima last March 8 at the T?Boli municipal gym in T?Boli, South Cotabato.
He also posted a UD victory against Luzuko Siyo (13-2-0) in bagging the IBO Inter-Continental light flyweight crown last Dec. 12, 2014 at the Orient Theatre, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
He also captured the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental flyweight crown via a UD victory over Jake Bornea of Brian Golingan Stable-Gensan last May 24, 2014 at the Lagao Gym.
Sabellina, on the other hand, lost by a unanimous decision to Robert Paradero last Aug. 2 in Iligan City in his last outing.
The main event is the much-awaited rematch between WBA Youth bantamweight king Daryl ?Flash? Basadre and WBA Oceania bantamweight champion Kenny Demecillo of Cebu for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia bantamweight title.
Brawl at the Mall is co-presented by Gaisano Mall Gensan and supported by Mt. Sabrina Resort, San Marino Tuna, Sydney Hotel and Philboxing.- LITO DELOS REYES
