WBO light welterweight No. 2 ranked Jason Pagara, IBF International super bantamweight champion Prince Albert Pagara and IBF Youth featherweight champion Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo are training hard and ready to gave a trio of tough opponents.

ALA Gym head trainer Edito ?Ala? Villamor told the New Standard/boxingmirror.com that the three fighters trained at the Undisputed Gym as well as the gym of Nonito ?Dodong? Donaire Sr, father of five division champion Nonito Donaire who is also training in Las Vegas for an anticipated title fight against WBA champion Scott Quigg on November 21.

Villamor said the three boxers who will figure in the inaugural US presentation of ALA Promotions at the StubHub Center in Carson, California on October 17 are in Redwood City, San Francisco to shoot for shows of The Filipino Channel ?TFC- of the giant broadcast network ABS-CBN who are partners with ALA Promotions in the extremely successful ?Pinoy Pride? series now on its 33rd edition.

Villamor said the three boxers took time to train with Prince Albert Pagara and Magsayo sparring with undefeated super featherweight Andy ?The Shark? Vences of San Jose, California who has a record of 12-0 with 8 knockouts.

The trainer commended ?Dodong? Donaire for helping arrange the sparring which he described as ?good. It was a good workout? with Prince Albert also sparring with flyweight Joebert Alvarez, a southpaw, the reigning WBC Americans Continental champion with a record of 14-1-1.

He said the sparring with Alvarez was ?more on perfecting Prince Albert?s reflexes.?

Villamor said they had reviewed tapes of the Filipinos' opponents and remarked, ?They are ready for tough opponents. They are well prepared. Prince Albert is more determined and dedicated. These boys have sacrificed a lot.?

WBO No. 2 ranked light welterweight Jason ?El Nino? Pagara faces former WBA super featherweight Interim title challenger Santos Benavidez, a 33 year old who has a record of 25-7-2 with 19 knockouts and is coming off back-to-back wins over Jay Krupp whom he knocked out in the 8th round on June 20 this year after scoring a 1st round TKO over Cody Richard on May 8.

Prince Albert battles Nicaragua?s 34 year old William ?Chirizo? Gonzalez, a southpaw with an impressive record of 23 knockouts in 27 wins with 5 defeats while Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo will clash with undefeated Yardley Suarez of Sinaloa, Mexico who has 8 knockouts in 13 wins.

Suarez is coming off a 9th round TKO in a scheduled ten round bout with Juan Beltran last August 14 after beating Adalberto Paredes on June 26 while Gonzalez won the vacant WBA NBO title with a stunning 7th round knockout of Cornelius Lock last May 9, 2014 after scoring a 3rd round TKO over Carlos Rivas in a scheduled eight round bout on March 16, 2013.

Villamor also disclosed that they ?always work with strength and conditioning coach Nick Curson and will resume working with him when we return to Los Angeles on Friday.?

He said WBO light flyweight champion Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes will be in Los Angeles either this week, or next and that he had spoken to Ruben Gomez a longtime member of two division champion Brian Viloria?s team and discussed a schedule for sparring between Viloria and Nietes.
