Omega Boxing Club's Jack Tepora scored a first round stoppage win over Siaton, Negros Oriental native-Jason Egera last Saturday night at Sabang gymnasium, Danao City in northern Cebu.

The heavy-handed and fleet-footed super bantamweight contender wasted no time and started the bout with guns blazing. Before the veteran journeyman could mount any offense of significance, a jarring right hook put him on the canvas and was unable to get up to beat the count. The undefeated "Golden Boy", whose penchant for winning gold medals in various open boxing tournaments lead him to earn such monicker improved his unbeaten run to 15 wins with 11 inside the distance. With the huge victory, a crack at a regional title may just be around the corner in few months time.

The event, dubbed as "Bakbakan sa Sabang" also featured four immensely entertaining bouts. In the chief supporting fight, Phil-Aust boxing club, now known as Mike Boxing/ Team Joeric fighter Rodel Wenceslao captured the PBF welterweight title with a majority decision win over Weng Haya. "Puncher vs. KO artist" match-up ended with Christian Araneta keeping his unblemished run with an 8th round TKO of Jessie Espinas in a light flyweight fight. Mar Jun Pantilgan stopped MacMac Baribar in the 3rd round for a TKO win. Big Yellow boxing stable pug Clyde Azarcon scores another victory by stopping Jodimar Mara in the opening round. Special thanks goes to Romel Enriquez of AH-C.
