Dulay.
FILIPINO boxer Recky ?The Terror? Dulay will see action in the undercard of the world-title fight between undefeated Floyd ?Money? Mayweather and two-time world champion Andre Berto on Sept. 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dulay (8 wins, 5 knockouts, 1 loss) will face undefeated featherweight Gervonta ?Rambo? Davis (11 wins, 10 KOs) of Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

?Bale substitute si Dulay through the recommendation of Ronald Jeres,? said Dulay?s manager Yolly Alfante, president of the Buhay Kamao Foundation Inc.

The 21-year old Dulay, who left Manila for the US last Sept. 8, previously won by a 2nd round TKO over Menard Zaragosa last March 6 in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

His other knockout victims were Roger Galicia (3rd round TKO), Tata Galindez (1st round TKO), Gilbert Donasales (2nd round TKO) and Mon Alvin Albuero (3rd round T KO).

Dulay?s only defeat was against Roberto Lerio by a majority decision held at the Olympic Park Sports Centre in Homebush, New South Wales, Australia on Aug. 30, 2013.

Dulay?s fight with Anthony Sabalde held last Sept. 20, 2014 at the Talisay Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu ended in a controversial no decision after his opponent was found using a lesser pound pair of gloves.

?Hindi natapos ang laban dahil nalaman naming na mas Malaki ang gloves na pinagamit kay Dulay at manipis ang sa kalaban. Dinaya nila kami,? said Alfante, also president of the Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (Minproba).

Dulay?s second had to run away from some men trying to get back his pair of bigger gloves, which were later used by Alfante as the evidence to the Games and Amusements Board officials.
?Alam kasi nila na malakas si Dulay kaya pinagamit nila ng mas malaking gloves,? Alfante said.

Meanwhile, Dulay will be facing his toughest opponent against Davis, a former 2012 National Golden Gloves champion.

The power-punching Davis, who has 10 KOs from his 11 straight wins, previously stopped Albert Mora in the first round (1:55) last May 22 at the Claridge Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
The 20-year old Davis also scored a quick stoppage over Israel Suarez in just 47 seconds of the opening round last Feb. 20 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The other KO victims were Hector Lopez (1st rnd. KO), Joshua Arocho (2nd rnd. retirement), James Franks (2nd rnd. TKO), Eric Jamar Goodall (4th rnd. TKO), Rafael Casias (2nd. TKO), Jonathan Gears (1st rnd. TKO), Jacob Ninow (2nd rnd. TKO) and Desi Williams (1st rnd. TKO).

The only boxer to ever survive against Davis was German Meraz, who lost by a unanimous decision. Meraz, however, was downed in rounds 3 and 5 in their 6-rounder bout held October 8, 2014 at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. ? LITO DELOS REYES
