GEN. SANTOS CITY ? Undefeated Genesis Libranza and former Luzon Professional Boxing Association (Luzproba) light flyweight champion Michael Rodriguez both made their weights and also vowed to knockout each other in the main event of the Tibay ng Pinoy X: Bakbakan sa Labangal slated tomorrow (Sept. 6) at the Barangay Labangal Gym here.

The 21-year old Libranza of the MP Davao Stable tipped the scales at 110 lbs. while 33-year old Rodriguez submitted 119 at the official weigh-in held today at the Family Country Hotel.
?Hindi ko masasabi kasi beterano po siya. Pero kung makakakita ako ng pagkakataon na ma-knockout siya gagawin ko po,? (I can not say because he is a veteran. But if I can see a chance I will go for a KO) said Libranza, who hails from Bayugan, Agusan del Sur.

Rodriguez, a native of General Santos City, also vowed to knockout Libranza (7 wins, 5 KO).

?Pero dili ko makasulti kung unsang round. Depende na lang ugma na,? (I can?t say on what round. It will depend tomorrow) said Rodriguez.
