Promoter/manager and former boxer Aljoe Jaro has offered to stage the final eliminator in the WBC minimum weight division between hard-hitting southpaw Denver Cuello who is ranked No. 1 and Mexico's Raul Garcia who is ranked No. 2 and has already sent a financial offer to Oswaldo Kuchle who handles Garcia.

Tentative date for the title eliminator is September 26.

Aljoe Jaro informed the New Standard/boxingmirror.com that he had offered Garcia a purse of $15,000 plus three round-trip tickets from Mexico to Manila and back.

World Boxing Council president Mauricio Sulaiman wrote the camps of both fighters last July 30 in which the WBC "ordered the free negotiations for the final eliminator fight between Denver Cuello and Raul Garcia, in the minimumweight division."

Sulaiman said "If there is no agreement, the WBC will conduct a purse offer on Friday, August 28, 2015" even as he asked both parties to confirm the availability of the boxers by Friday, August 7, 2015.

Ra?l "Rayito" Garc?a, born Ra?l Garc?a Hirales, who is from La Paz, Baja California Sur, M?xico won the IBF minimum weight by a somewhat controversial twelve round split decision over Filipino Florante Condes in his hometown despite the fact that Condes dropped Garcia in the 12th round.

The 32 year old Garcia has a record of 36-3-1 with 22 knockouts. He is the twin brother of WBO light flyweight champion Ram?n Garc?a Hirales who lost his title to Donnie "Ahas" Nietes on October 8, 2011 in Bacolod City.

After losing his IBF title to Nkosinathi Joyi of South Africa , "Rayito" Garcia went on to win the WBO interim minimumweight title on October 30, 2010 by a split decision against Luis dela Rosa. He was scheduled to face Donnie Nietes on March 12, 2011 for the full championship, however, just two weeks prior to the fight date, Nietes announced that he would be vacating his world title and moving up in weight with Garcia being promoted to full champion.

On May 30, 2011, he successfully defended the title for the first time by third round TKO against Rommel Asenjo. Garcia and his brother Ram?n made history on this night when they became the first set of twin brothers to win world title fights on the same card.

After dropping a split decision in to Pedro Guevara for the vacant WBC light flyweight Silver title, Rayito Garcia won three fights in a row, the last being a ten round decision over Andres Garcia on December 13, 2014.

The 28 year old Cuello who suffered from a dislocated rotator cuff injury early in his title fight against China's Xiong Zhao Zhong at the International Trade Center in Dubai on June 28, 2013 took over year to recover from surgery and on his return won three fights in a row in impressive fashion, the last being a 3rd round TKO over Indonesia's Boy Tanto in Bangkok on June 27 this year.
