Trongco (L).

Filipino southpaw Renan Trongco who is rated No. 5 flyweight by the World Boxing Council is out of the fight card of promoter Gabriel "Bebot" Elorde at the area behind the Mall of Asia Arena on June 5.

Elorde claimed that Mexico's Moises "Taz" Calleros was forced to pull-out of the fight after he reportedly suffered a cut on his right eyebrow in training .The promoter said that since he couldn?t find a suitable replacement. Trongco who was the main attraction won?t be on the card.

Calleros was regarded as a worthy opponent since he had gone twelve rounds against current world WBO and IBF minimum weight champion Francisco Rodriguez Jr before Rodriguez won the title with a 10th round TKO of Merlito Sabillo on March 22, 2014 and grabbed the IBF crown with a twelve round unanimous decision over Katsunara Takayama last August 9 in Mexico.

Three championship bouts for vacant WBC Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council titles will now highlight the card with Chris Paulino facing Lolito Sonsona for the super flyweight title, Joe Misako taking on Edison Berwela for the super bantamweight title and Rolly Sumalpong clashing with JC Francisco for the minimum weight title.
