LAS VEGAS ? What if Manny Pacquiao pulls the upset and wins against the unbeaten and current Pound for Pound Number 1 boxer in the world in Floyd Mayweather Jr. this Saturday evening at the MGM Grand Garden Arena?

What will be his immediate plans if he wins the biggest fight of his career and the biggest fight of this generation?

His promoter Bob Arum spelled the details of a celebration that will equal the magnitude of this fight-which is estimated to be the highest earner in the sport.

?Alright here is the schedule,? stated Arum to a group of Filipino sportswriters. ?We win the fight Saturday night. By Wednesday night or Thursday morning, we are on a plane to Manila. And on Friday, we do the biggest parade in the history of Metro Manila.?

Arum is known to exaggerate things when he speaks to the media but this pronouncement of his has plenty of validity behind it.

The Philippines is currently experiencing a sporting and cultural phenomenon known as ?Pacquiao fever? as its most popular citizen takes the biggest stage of the sporting world in what is known as ?The Fight of the Century? with Mayweather Jr.

Promotional marketing of this fight in a country of a hundred million people has reached unprecedented levels as the country?s rival television and media networks unite for the first time to bring this fight to as many viewers as possible.

Posters, commercials, and images of Pacquiao adorn every corner of the country, with the intent of selling the fight from a small eatery in one of its remote islands to a lavish buffet-laden lunch offering in the country?s luxurious hotels.

Every media network in the country has sent its representatives to Las Vegas to chronicle the event for the masses that look forward to every story about the fight that the whole world has been waiting to see.

?And after that, maybe we go for a vacation to Boracay and then figure out what we?re going to do,? added the veteran promoter.

Boracay is a famous tourist destination south of Manila, known for its beautiful white sand beach.

Arum also divulged Pacquiao?s immediate future as a fighter under the Top Rank banner. That includes a possible rematch later this year with Mayweather Jr. if his boxer wins. He also stated that Pacquiao will possibly headline the opening of a new arena that is currently being built in this city next year.

?Assuming he fights once more this year and fights maybe in April or May next year, maybe in the opening of the new building. And then he?s talked to me about doing this massive fight in Manila as his farewell fight, where we let people in for nothing. We would put it in the United States on free television. You would not have to pay Pay-Per-View and make it to a great festive event.?

Pacquiao?s contract with Top Rank Boxing ends in December of 2016.

On Sunday morning, the streets of Metro Manila will be empty like a ghost town as everyone will be glued to their television or their computer screens to cheer for Pacquiao.

If he wins against Mayweather Jr., every street corner of the metropolis will be filled with his adoring countrymen upon his return.
