
PENALOSA CAMPAIGNING FOR PACQUIAO

Former WBC super flyweight champion Gerry Penalosa is campaigning hard for Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao who is contesting the congressional seat of South Cotabato of incumbent congresswoman Darlene Antonino Custodio.
In a long distance telephone conversation with Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today Penalosa said he was also campaigning for his sister-in-law Shandy Llido who is running for councilor on the Pacquiao ticket.
Penalosa disclosed that Pacquiao himself was campaigning from morning to night and so far there were ?no problems.? Penalosa predicted the congressional battle ?will be a close fight but Manny has a good chance of winning.?
