When Julio Cesar Chavwez Jr, the ?Son of the Legend? Julio Cesar Chavez Sr returns to the ring to fight Andezej Fonfara of Poland for the vacant WBC International light heavyweight belt, the winner will receive a belt with a special design.

The WBC created a special edition belt with a similar look to the world title and adding the word INTERNATIONAL to it.

The WBC reports that Chavez Jr will be back at Carson City?s StubHub Center which is the same arena where he fought Bryan Vera for the first time in 2013.

This time around it will be what the WBC website claims ?will be a whole new destiny as he?s now part of Aly Haymon?s team, signing a contract with Showtime and becoming the new Televisa Deports star.

Chavez Jr is determined to prove his quality as he?s aiming to contest the WBC championship this year.

After losing to Ring Magazine middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, Chavez Jr was found positive for an illegal substance and was heavily fined by both the Nevada State Athletic Commission and the WBC and suspended for one year.

He returned to face Brian Vera on September 28, 2013 at the StubHub Center. Chavez Jr struggled with the weight and tipped the scales at 172 pounds for a fight scheduled at 168 and weighed a huge 186 pounds on the night of the fight.

Chavez eked out a controversial unanimous decision which was heavily criticized by both the media and the fans even as hwe claimed he fought with an injured hand.

In a rematch at the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas, Chavez was far more aggressive and almost knocked out Vera with a powerful right hand in the eleventh round and went on to win a unanimous decision.
