CHICAGO -- Against a tough Bulls defense, Cleveland converted only 28 percent of its 2-point field goals (19-of-66), but the Cavaliers sizzled beyond the arc, making 16 of 37 triples to score a 99-94 decision.

J.R. Smith accounted for half of his team's 3s with 8 as the Cavaliers extended their home winning streak to 18 on Sunday afternoon at the Quicken Loans Arena. Smith finished with 24 points and four boards in 43 minutes of action.

Adding to the Bulls' woes was LeBron James, who quietly registered his first triple-double of the season with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Kyrie Irving also proved to be a thorn for Chicago, finishing with 27 points on 8-for-19 shooting.

The Cavs' win extended their home win streak at 18. They improved their record to 50-27, second best in the Eastern Conference.

Mike Dunleavy was the high point man for Chicago with 24, but the Bulls shot just 44.7 percent from the fuel and had 16 turnovers, six more than Cleveland. Aaron Brooks tallied 17 and Jimmy Butler chipped in 16.

The Bulls remained in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 46-31 slate, one game ahead of fourth-place Toronto Raptors (45-32).
