An electric crowd gave the fighters a taste of the special atmosphere in store for Saturday's historic fight night at the Legon Sports Stadium following a lively weigh-in in Accra.
As Matchroom Boxing looks forward to staging its first ever event in Africa, in association with Legacy Rise Sports and 258 Boxing, main event duo Craig Richards and Dan Azeez both successfully tipped the scales ahead of their South London derby in Ghana with the IBF International Light Heavyweight crown on the line – live on DAZN.
The roof was raised when bitter local rivals Freezy Macbones and Jonathan Tetteh too to the stage. Both fighters have been back-and-forth throughout the week and had to be kept at bay once again as they count down to their WBA Africa Light Heavyweight title clash.
Accra's own Theo Allotey received a rapturous reception too as he battles Jayr Raquinel for the WBO Global Super Flyweight Championship.
Teenage Heavyweight sensation Leo Atang is in supreme shape as he prepares for his third professional fight against Uganda's Babu Yussuf.
And India's Olympic hero Nishant Dev completes the main card line-up as he weighed in for his contest with Ally Mbukwa.
