
BIG PRESS CONFERENCE TO LAUNCH BLOCKBUSTER ?PINOY PRIDE 30? FIGHT CARD

A big press conference will be hosted by ALA Promotions and their partners, the giant broadcast network ABS-CBN to launch the blockbuster ?Pinoy Pride 30? fight card titled ?D DAY? on Monday at 12:00 noon at the Gloria Maris restaurant on the 4th floor of Gateway Mall at the Araneta Center.
The spectacular card will feature the longest reigning Filipino world champion, WBO light flyweight king Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes and five division world champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire as well as the promising IBF Intercontinental super bantamweight champion, undefeated Prince Albert Pagara.
All three fighters will attend the press conference with Donaire scheduled to arrive from the US where he has been training diligently at the Boxing and Fitness Gym of his father/trainer ?Dodong? Donaire.
After a few changes in the opponent of Nietes, he is now scheduled to face Gilberto Parra of Zanfer Promotions who has an impressive record of 17 knockouts in 19 wins with two defeats after mandatory challenger Francisco Rodriguez Jr also a Zanfer fighter wasn?t ready for the March 28 date when he replaced Luis Ceja, the original opponent on instructions of the World Boxing Organization.
Donaire will face 31 year old William Prado of Brazil who has a record of 22-4-1 with 15 knockouts in a comeback fight after his 6th round TKO loss to Jamaica?s Nicholas ?Axe Man? Walters in Carson, CA.
Donaire has trained hard for his comeback fight and is determined to put on a show in his chosen weight of 122 pounds where he had four big wins in 2012 and earned ?Fighter of the Year? honors.
The unbeaten Pagara is certain to be tested by Mexico?s North American Boxing Organization super bantamweight champion Rodolfo ?Fofo? Hernandez who has an impressive record of 24 knockouts in 26 wins with 5 losses and 1 draw.
