Undefeated ALA Gym boxers Genesis ?Azukal? Servania and ?Prince?Albert Pagara are presently rated by the prestigious Ring Magazine among the top ten best junior featherweights of the world.

Servania has been on the list for 49 consecutive weeks now while Pagara has been rated by the Bible of Boxing for seven weeks. Servania is 26-0, 11 KOs while Pagara is 20-0, 15 KOs. Servania is from Bacolod City and Pagara is from Maasin City.

Servania, the WBO intercontinental junior featherweight champion Servania, won handily over challenger Juan
Luis ?Perla Negra? Hernandez of Mexico via 119-109, 118-110, 117-111 unanimous decision during the Pinoy Pride 29 in Davao City two weeks ago.

He also had two impressive knockout victories against Alexander ?El Explosivo? Mu?oz of Venezuela and Rafael ?El Torito? Concepcion of Panama.

Pagara retained his IBF intercontinental junior featherweight crown with a 120-107, 120-107, 119-108 lopsided victory over Mexican Raul Hirales in the Pinoy Pride 28 in Cebu City last November.

Asian Boxing wrote ?The one issue with Pagara is that he's only 20 and ALA will
want to develop his skills and experience before stepping him up too much. The kid has ?money? written all over him with his good looks, great style and sensational ability. Don't be shocked if he becomes the next star of the ALA stable and the man they base not just shows around but the entire direction of their promotional outfit.?

Pagara?s next fight is slated as an undercard of the Donnie Nietes title fight against Luis Ceja of Mexico during the Pinoy Pride 30 on March 28 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Pagara will face another Mexican, knockout artist Rodolfo Hernandez who has 26-5-1 (24 KOs).

The Ring champion for the junior featherweight division is Guillermo Rigondeaux, the undefeated fighter who stopped former world champion
Nonito Donaire, Jr. He is also the current World Boxing Organization and World Boxing Association champion. He has an immaculate 15-0, 11 KOs record. The Cuban champion has been listed on The Ring top contenders for 224 consecutive weeks now.

Rigondeaux is also rated number five pound-for-pound boxer by the authoritative magazine and has been on the top list in all categories for 78 weeks now. Servania has been eyeing the titles of Rigondeaux for quite a time already.

Included in the top ten contenders of the junior featherweight division are: No. 1 is Carl Frampton of UK (19-0, 13 KOs), the current International Boxing Federation champion; No. 2 is Leo Santa Cruz of US (29-0-1, 17 KOs), the present World Boxing Council titlist; No. 3 is Scott Quigg of UK (30-0-2, 22 KOs); No. 5 is Chris Avalos of US (25-2, 19 KOs); No. 6 is Kid Galahad of UK (18-0, 9 KOs); No. 7 is Andres Gutierrez of Mexico (31-0-1, 22 KOs); No. 8 is Shingo Wake of Japan (17-4-2, 10 KOs); and No. 9 is Rey Vargas of Mexico (23-0, 20 KOs).
