DAVAO CITY (Feb. 6) ? The Filipino fighters from the ALA Boxing Stable are also going for a knockout win against their Mexican rivals in the Pinoy Pride 29: Fist of Fury this Saturday night at the University of Southeastern Phils. (USEP) Gym in Bo. Obrero.

Reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) International junior welterweight champion Jason ?El Nino? Pagara (34 wins, 21 KO, 2 loss) said he will also now go for a knockout victory against challenger Cesar ?El Dolar? Chavez in their 12 round main event.

?I will also try to knock him out,? said Pagara in a vernacular during the presscon held yesterday at The Royal Mandaya Hotel.

Chavez (23 wins, 11 KO, 7 loss) earlier told the media that he will knockout Pagara in just five rounds. But yesterday, Chavez did not mention any particular round but still vowed to beat Paraga whether by knockout or decision.

?I came here to win by knockout or decision,? said Chavez thru interpreter Enrique Romero-Salas of Davao City.

Fellow ALA fighters Genesis ?Azukal? Servania (25 wins, 11 KO) and ?King? Arthur Villanueva (26 wins, 14 KO) are also both now aiming for knockout wins against their separate Mexican opponents.

?Paningkamutan nako na siya ang akong i-knockout (I will try my best to knockout him),? said Servania, who will be staking his WBO Intercontinental junior featherweight title against Juan Luis ?Perla Negra? Hernandez (17 wins, 9 KO, 3 loss, 1 draw).

Hernandez earlier said he will go for a 4th round KO against Servania.

Another Mexican Julio Cesar ?Pingo? Miranda (38 wins, 29 KO, 11 loss, 2 draws) is also confident of beating Villanueva either by knockout or decision in their non-title fight.
?I know that Miranda is a good fighter and that Mexicans are warriors. But I?m ready and excited to fight,? said Villanueva.

ALA Gym chief trainer Edito Villamor said that they will also now go for a knockout against the Mexicans.

?If they want a knockout, then we will also go for a knockout,? said Villamor.

ALA Promotions CEO and president Michael Aldeguer said the fights will be the defining moments for Pagara, Servania and Villanueva.

?Let?s see after these if they are now ready for the big fights,? said Aldeguer.

Featured in undercard are the undefeated Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo of ALA Gym against Thailand?s Sukkasem Kietyongyuth (10 rds.-126 lbs.), Arjan ?Spartan? Canillas vs. Stevi Ongen Ferinandus of Indonesia (8 rds.-137 lbs.), Vic ?Vicious?
