ALI DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

Muhammad Ali, best remembered by Filipinos for his epic 14th round TKO victory over Joe Frazier in the ?Thrilla in Manila? on October 1, 1975 which is considered the greatest heavyweight fight, has been discharged from a hometown hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

The WBC reported that Ali was hospitalized on December 20th, for pneumonia and was also diagnosed with a urinal infection.
The WBC website said Ali spokesman, Bon Gunnel, commented: ?Muhammad Ali will soon be back to his daily routine.?

Droves of fans from the four corners of the Globe, have been sending best wishes and get well soon messages to the Hospital in Louisville.

Daughter Laila Ali, herself a former undefeated world female boxing champion has thanked everyone for the tremendous groundswell of goodwill and outpouring of affection for The Greatest, which has boosted his recovery.

?The King of Boxing? who will be 74 on January 17 conquered his heavyweight title three times.
