The Philippine flyweight title defense of durable Ardin Diale against promising young challenger Jenie Boy Buca at the Makati Square Arena will be featured in Viva Sports top-rating weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on Pinoy Box Office (PBO) over Sky Cable, nationwide, with a replay on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
The 20 year old Buca who has a record of eight knockouts in eight wins with only one loss is coming off a 7th round TKO victory over Raymond Dayham last June 28.
The veteran Diale who sports a record of 24-9-3 with 11 knockouts is 26 years old and won his last title defense before a huge crowd in Taal, Batangas with a 4th round TKO over another young fighter Renerio Arizala last October 4 in an exciting battle before the experience of Diale prevailed.
Nicknamed ?The Spoiler? Diale has a reputation of turning back the challenges of promising young fighters looking to deprive him of his title and Buca is no exception.
Diale fights out of the United Boxing Gym in Malate while the challenger Buca represents the Hardstone Boxing Stable in Valenzuela City, Bulacan.
The fight card was promoted by the team of Edgar De Castro and Ryuta Kato of the United Boxing Promotions.
