Ramillo Caballes of the Philippines has lost a lopsided ten round decision to Australia’s undefeated Ben Crampton in an IBO Asia Pacific middleweight title fight at the Cessnock Supporters Club in New South Wales.
Two of the judges Brian McMahon and Ces Perkins scored the fight a shutout 100-91 while the third judge gave Caballes one round for a 99-91 card. With the win the 29 year old Crampton improved to 18-0-1 with 8 knockouts while Caballes, listed as a fighter of Rex “Wakee” Salud dropped to 13-11-1 with 11 knockouts.
It was the third successive defeat of Caballes who last February 4 lost a four round decision to Zac Awad and before that on November 24 last year suffered a first round TKO at the hands of Pradeep Singh, the former Orient Pacific Boxing Federation champion..
