PACQUIAO-ALGIERI SPECIAL ON PINOY BOX OFFICE (PBO) OVER SKY CABLE ON SATURDAY

A one hour pre-fight special on the Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri title fight at the Cotai Arena of the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macau late Sunday morning will be telecast on the top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on Pinoy Box Office (PBO) over Sky Cable nationwide with a replay on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
The Viva Sports production features highlights of Algieri?s split decision victory over Ruslan Provodnikov courtesy of Solar Sports in which he grabbed the WBO light welterweight title with a split decision victory which, according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, earned Algieri a shot at Pacquiao?s welterweight crown in a catch-weight bout at 144 pounds.
The special also gives fight fans a glimpse of Algieri in his fights against Jose Peralta and Emmanuel ?Transformer? Taylor where he used his height and reach to advantage behind a jab and right straight.
Algieri and Pacquiao both talk about this Sunday?s showdown as well as trainers Freddie Roach and Tim Lane.
The Pacquiao-Algieri special will also include a superb feature produced for Top Rank and made available to the Main Event.
It?s a riveting episode that the millions of Pacquiao fans will surely enjoy as a build-up to the fight itself.
