Rugged Philippine flyweight champion Ardin Diale and challenger Jenie Boy Buca both came in over the 112 pound flyweight limit but had no problems shedding off the excess weight on a second trip to the scales in preparation for what is expected to be an action-packed showdown at the Makati Cinema Square on Saturday.

Diale who has a record of 24-9-3 with 11 knockouts is coming off a big win against previously unbeaten youngster Renerio Arizala whose corner headed by Jonathan Penalosa decided to throw in the towel in the 4th round to save the 20 year old from further punishment although up to the time of the TKO he had fought well in a fight card in Taal, Batangas last October 4.

Buca who is a recognized toughie with a record of 8 knockouts in 8 wins with only one loss is also coming off a TKO win after he stopped Raymond Dayham in the 8th round last June 28.

Diale was half-a-pound over the limit while Buca was two pounds over.
In another intriguing fight on the exciting card of the emerging tandem of Edgardo De Castro and Ryuta Kato of United Boxing Promotions, undefeated WBC Asia light flyweight champion Richard Claveras who has a record of 9-0-2 with 9 knockouts faces JC Francisco whose record of 6-8-3 with 2 knockouts isn?t impressive but matchmaker Art Monis said fight fans know Francisco comes to fight.

Also on the card which will be covered by Viva Sports for telecast on its top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Pinoy Box Office (PBO) over Sky Cable which airs on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. with a replay on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. deadly puncher Rey Juntilla takes on Jhonny Gemino in a Philippine Boxing Federation super bantamweight championship while promising Al Rivera battles Jonard Pestano for the OBF lightweight title.
