Hundreds of boxing's movers and shakers, as well as officials and boxing stars are set to meet up for a week-long conclave set end of this month for the World Boxing Organization's (WBO) 27th Annual Convention at the posh Caesar's Palace Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The event, taking place on October 27th to 31st, will be led by WBO President Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel and his board with no less than boxing luminaries coming all over the world for the chance to re-connect and get updated with the latest developments in boxing. Also highly-anticipated is the rankings deliberations, which is set in one of the days during the event.

Among officials, the seminars for judges and referees to be conducted by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) will be the highlight of the week-long activities.

Filipino boxing stars Manny Pacquiao and Donnie Nietes hold WBO titles in different weight divisions, making this year's convention special among Filipino participants.

The meet kicks off with the day-long 17th Golf Tournament among golfers/participants on October 27th. The day caps off with the Welcome Cocktail at 7PM.

The following day, a general assembly takes place the whole morning to be graced by the Executive Committee where the President, Treasurer, as well as the Championship and Grievance Committees will announce their reports. All regional heads will file their reports in the afternoon followed by cocktails in the evening.

The ABC takes charge on the 29th, with the judges' seminar taking place in the morning as well as the referees' seminar in the afternoon.

Ratings deliberations are slated the following day with the black-tie 27th Gala Dinner set in the evening before participants head home the following day.
