Undefeated ALA Boys Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista and Alex John 'Bazooka' Banal will fly to Puerto Rico today to join Oscar De la Hoya in training under the watchful eyes of trainer Freddie Roach.

The duo will be accompanied in the trip by Filipino trainer Edito 'Ala' Villamor, who has been calling the shots for the two fighters.

"We visited the office of Golden Boy Promotions the other day and the boys were very happy," Villamor told this writer in an interview.

"We met Golden CEO Richard Schaefer, Johanna Javaluyas and all staff of GBP. They toured us around the office, especially Banal who was visiting for the first time. Then he was asked to sign on the 'bag of champions,'" reported Villamor.

"We are leaving Saturday evening then we arrive in Puerto Rico Sunday morning at 9. Eric Gomez will fetch us at the airport," added Villamor.

Both Bautista and Banal have been training religiously at the Wild Card Gym for more than a week prior to their departure for Puerto Rico.

The two fighters will be seeing action on the undercard of the huge Oscar De la Hoya-Floyd Mayweather showdown dubbed as 'The World Awaits."
