
Qui?onero beats Enumerable in DUFC elims

DENNIS Qui?onero of the Cenojas Mixed Martial Arts of Davao City defeated Rogelio Enumerable of Cotabato MMA Gym via submission in the main event of the first DUFC Elimination Bouts held recently at the iFlex Gym in Maa.
Quinonero will advance in the Bugno, a professional MMA event slated in December according to Yul Naval, managing partner of the organizing Daba-daba Events Management.
The other qualifiers were William Cabolan, Elliakim Balco and Francis Jore, all coming from the iFlex Gym.
Cabolan won also by submission over Johnrey Engayas of MATS Criminology while Balco defeated Nerie Dadayao of Malita Gym via a unanimous decision.
Jore scored a technical knockout against John Michael Tiualusan of General Santos Gym.
All amateur bouts were held using one 4-minute round bouts complete with all safety measures. The referees were Jason Abad and Maling Domingo. Also present during the event were Marco Cenojas of CMMA, Ben Tamayo and Armando Cole of iFlex Gym.
The second elimination bouts will be on Sept. 28 while the free registration is now on-going until Sept. 27.
