A night of exciting match-ups awaits fight fans in Baguio City when an exciting 9-bout card, headlined by a WBO Youth title bout, takes place this Saturdy at the 3,000-capacity Baguio Convention Center.

Dubbed 'Great Fights at the Heights,' the event is being presented by the Baguio Everlasting Sports Promotion in coordination with Hon. Councilor Rocky Thomas Balisong for the benefit of 10-year-old cornea transplant patient Franz Alison F. Pawe.

Topbilling the show is the WBO Asia Pacific Youth flyweight showdown between local boy Javier Malulan against Thailand's Saensaknoi Or Muangklang in a 10-round dukeout.

Saensaknoi arrived in Baguio yesterday, vowing to shame the local boy right in his home turf when they clash for the title.

The WBO golden belt will be awarded by Representative Mauricio G. Domogan.

In the chief support, Mating Kilakil of Everlasting Stable takes on Manila's Rommel Bongon in a 10-round non-title duel, with the winner getting a golden trophy from Hon. Rocky Thomas Balisong.

Another 10-round encounter takes place between Amor Tino and Joan De Guia in the super-featherweight class with the winner getting another golden trophy from Hon. Nick Parado.

This mammoth event is sponsored by Hon. Congressman Mauricio Domogan, Hon. Mark Jimenez, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor), San Miguel Corporation, Veterans Bank, Prime Peak Properties, Camp John Hay Development Corporation, Camp John Hay Manor, Hotel Constancia, Mountainview Cable Network, Hon. Loren Legarda and Hon. Chavit Singson.

The rest of the card pits Alvin Tam versus Jose Samson Malin; Abel Togatog versus Roderick Wakil; Jade Sevillano against Aldrin Tam; Johnson Luna versus Johan Naimes; Japhete Martin versus Rodel Bongcato; and Dave Perlas against Ryan Willis.
